elpa-highlight-indentation software package provides highlight the indentation level in Emacs buffers, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elpa-highlight-indentation
elpa-highlight-indentation is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elpa-highlight-indentation package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elpa-highlight-indentation *
You will get with elpa-highlight-indentation package name, version, architecture and description in a table
